Request a Ride

At TASC Rides, we are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for older individuals in our community.

If you are 55 years or older or an adult with a medical disability that prevents you from driving, and you reside in Brentwood, East Kingston, Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, North Hampton, Rye, Seabrook, or Stratham, we’re here to help you get where you need to go!

Looking to request a ride? First, you’ll need to become a passenger!

Important Steps to Become a Passenger:

  1. Read Our Policies and Procedures: Before you can ride with us, it is essential to read our policies and procedures. This ensures that you understand the guidelines and expectations for using TASC services

Click Here to Read Policies and Procedures

  2. Complete the Passenger Registration Form: Once you have read the policies and procedures, please fill out the registration form completely. The application is available online or to download and mail to the office. All information is confidential and will only be shared with your permission.

  3. Contact Information: You must provide a current phone number to confirm rides. This can be a friend or relative if necessary. If we can’t confirm the ride, we can’t provide it. Remember to inform us of any changes to your phone number or residence.

  4. Face Coverings: Both passengers and volunteer drivers are required to wear face coverings. If you do not have one, the driver will provide one. Refusal to wear a face covering will result in the denial of service.

  5. Eligibility Criteria:

    • You must be able to get from your home to a vehicle with little or no assistance. If you cannot, you must be accompanied by a responsible, registered passenger adult.

    • Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legally responsible adult who is registered with TASC.

  6. No cost: There is no fee for TASC services, and our volunteer drivers cannot accept tips or payments.

Free will donations are appreciated and can be mailed to TASC at 200 High Street, Hampton, NH 03842.

Procedures for Requesting a Ride

Call TASC at (603) 926-9026 and please provide the following information:

  • Your name, address, and telephone number.

  • The full date, time, specific location (i.e., doctor’s name & address) of the appointment, and an estimated length of time you’ll be at your appointment or errand.

  • Let us know if you will need to make an extra stop; provide the specific location.

  • If you aren’t calling for a ride, please specify the reason for your call.

  • If you reach the voicemail, leave a detailed message. We may not be able to call back the same day, and leaving a message does not guarantee a ride.

If you are covered by a Medicaid Provider, call them for information about transportation assistance to medical appointments. Medicaid provides transportation to covered medical appointments.

Every effort is made to arrange your rides, but since our volunteer drivers provide all rides, we can not guarantee a ride.

Our ability to provide rides is based solely on the availability of our volunteer drivers.

“I learned about TASC, when I needed transportation to and from the hospital. They helped me, so I should help them. I think all the people I transport are special. They all have their concerns about coming and going everywhere. We have conversations, if they want, about everything. TASC is their connection to staying healthy. If I can help in any way, then I will”

— Michael, Volunteer Driver

“Thank you, for all the rides you gave me while I was being treated and while I was sick. Knowing that I had a ride to get there took the stress off. It was one less thing I had to worry about, and made it easier for me to get well.  Everyone is so nice and that helped too. One driver even brought me chicken soup when the treatments made me really sick! All I can say is thank you!

— Judith, Cancer Patient, a TASC Rider
